Angel Flight West offers free, non-emergency air travel for children and adults with serious medical conditions and other pressing needs. If a client needs to be transported outside of regular hours from the doctor's office to a care facility, but is not in an emergency situation, they may be eligible for this service. The Colorado Health Foundation and the Caring for Colorado Foundation provide grants that make the Health First Colorado website and public messages possible. Non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) is available to those who are members of Health First Colorado (Colorado's Medicaid program) and need transportation to and from covered, non-emergency medical appointments or services. This service is only available when a member has no other means of transportation.
