Are you looking for smoking cessation programs in Aurora, Colorado? If so, you're in luck! The Aurora Medical Center offers a variety of programs to help you quit smoking. The Baby & Me Tobacco Free program provides free counseling and vouchers for pregnant women who quit smoking and remain smoke-free. This program is offered by the University of Colorado Hospital and the Behavioral Health and Wellness Program. The Douglas County Health Department has partnered with the STRIDE Community Health Center (CHC) to provide confidential sexual and reproductive health services, diabetes self-management education and support (DSMES) classes, National Diabetes Prevention Program (NDPP) classes, fall prevention education, mental well-being support, rapid testing for HIV and hepatitis C, STI testing in non-clinical settings, and Title V Maternal and Child Health (MCH) Program services.

The Community Health Division is also responsible for providing clinical services to community members, such as vaccines, reproductive health visits, STI testing, etc. You can come any time the Health Center is open to schedule an appointment or see if a same-day appointment is available. The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment offers a free at-home test for chlamydia, gonorrhea, HIV, syphilis, and hepatitis C. If you qualify for financial help, you may be asked to bring documentation to the health center.

The Douglas County Health Department has partnered with the STRIDE Community Health Center to provide all commonly recognized vaccines and boosters for children and adults, including flu and COVID-19 vaccines.
